1 ripe avocado, mashed

1/4 cup Greek yogurt or mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced

1/4 cup celery, finely chopped

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

4 large whole wheat tortillas or lettuce leaves (for a low-carb option)

Lime wedges, for serving

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded or diced cooked chicken and the mashed avocado. Add the Greek yogurt (or mayonnaise), Dijon mustard, and fresh lime juice. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients form a smooth and creamy consistency.

    Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well to ensure the seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the chicken salad.

      Gently fold in the diced red bell pepper, chopped celery, finely minced red onion, and chopped cilantro (if using), taking care not to mash the ingredients. Stir until everything is well incorporated.

        Prepare your tortillas by laying them flat on a clean surface. If opting for lettuce wraps, carefully separate the leaves and lay them out in a single layer.

          Spoon an equal portion of the creamy chicken salad mixture into the center of each tortilla or lettuce leaf, ensuring you have enough for all.

            If using tortillas, gently fold in the sides and roll them up from the bottom to the top, securing the filling inside. For lettuce wraps, tightly roll the leaf around the filling.
