Ingredients

1 (8 oz) wheel of Brie cheese

1 (8 oz) package of crescent roll dough

1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)

1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional for added crunch)

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, minced (or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

1 tablespoon honey (for drizzling)

Salt and pepper to taste

Parchment paper (for baking)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

Prepare the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, unroll the crescent roll dough. Carefully separate the dough into triangles along the perforations.

Trim the Cheese: For a more melty and oozy filling, slice the Brie cheese in half horizontally (this step is optional but recommended).

Assemble the Twists: On each triangle of dough, add a spoonful of cranberry sauce at the base. Top with a few pieces of chopped nuts, a sprinkle of minced rosemary, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Place a wedge of Brie on top of the filling.

Twist and Wrap: Starting from the wide end of each triangle, roll the dough tightly around the filling. Gently twist the ends to form a spiral shape. Place each twist onto the prepared baking sheet, making sure to leave some space between them for expansion.

Egg Wash: Using a pastry brush, apply the beaten egg generously over the tops of each twist to achieve a beautiful golden color as they bake.

Bake: Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the twists are golden brown and puffed.

Finish with Honey: Once baked, take the twists out of the oven and drizzle them with honey while they are still warm, allowing it to soak slightly into the dough.

Serve: Present your twists warm as an enticing appetizer or snack. Enjoy the delightful fusion of gooey Brie, tart cranberry, and crunchy nuts!
