Ingredients

1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

2 tbsp honey (adjust more to taste)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 cup granola (optional, for a crunchy texture)

Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Wooden skewers or toothpicks

Instructions

Prepare the Strawberries: Begin by washing the strawberries thoroughly. Remove the green tops (hulling) and slice each strawberry in half. If you are using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to minimize the risk of burning if you choose to grill them.

Make the Yogurt Dip: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Taste the yogurt dip and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if you prefer a sweeter flavor.

Assemble the Skewers: Take a wooden skewer or toothpick and thread one half of a strawberry, followed by a generous dollop of the yogurt mixture. Repeat this pattern, alternating between strawberries and yogurt, until the skewer is filled. Aim for 3-4 strawberry halves per skewer, leaving some space at the bottom for easy handling.

Chill: Once all the skewers are assembled, arrange them neatly on a serving platter. Cover the platter with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator. Chill for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and enhance the cooling effect.

Serve: Just before serving, sprinkle the assembled skewers with granola, adding a delightful crunch. To enhance presentation, garnish with fresh mint leaves, providing a pop of color and a refreshing hint of flavor. Serve chilled and delight in this refreshing treat!
