2 cups rotini or penne pasta

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced into bite-sized pieces

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, plus extra for topping

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s ready for the bake.

    Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring generously salted water to a rolling boil. Add the rotini (or penne) pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set aside.

      Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken to the skillet, seasoning it with salt, pepper, and the Italian seasoning. Cook the chicken for about 6-8 minutes, or until it turns golden brown and is cooked through. Once done, remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.

        Prepare the Broccoli: Using the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for approximately 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, add the fresh broccoli florets along with a splash of water. Cover the skillet and steam the broccoli for about 3-4 minutes, or until it reaches a bright green color and is tender-crisp. Remove from heat.

          Create the Alfredo Sauce: In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese over low heat.
