Preheat the Air Fryer: Begin by preheating your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Allow it to heat up for about 5 minutes, ensuring optimal cooking conditions for your taco shells.

    Prepare the Tortillas: Take each corn tortilla and lightly brush both sides with olive oil. This step is optional but will significantly enhance the crispiness. If you prefer a little less oil, feel free to omit this step.

      Season the Tortillas: For an extra layer of flavor, sprinkle taco seasoning evenly over both sides of the tortillas. Adjust the amount of seasoning according to your taste preferences.

        Shape the Tortillas: To form taco shapes, carefully fold each tortilla in half. Use toothpicks to hold them in place or a taco rack if you have one. Alternatively, you can use an upside-down muffin tin to help mold them into the desired shape.

          Grease the Air Fryer Basket: Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent the taco shells from sticking during cooking.

            Air Fry the Tortillas: Arrange the shaped tortillas in the air fryer basket without overcrowding. If necessary, cook them in batches. Set the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and cook for approximately 6-8 minutes. For even cooking, flip the tortillas halfway through the cooking time until they become golden brown and crispy.
