Ingredients

12 oz penne pasta

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 cup diced salami

1/2 cup diced pepperoni

1/2 cup diced prosciutto

1 cup sliced pepperoncini

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup pitted black olives, halved

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, finely chopped for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). This ensures it’s hot and ready for the pasta bake.

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add the penne pasta and cook it according to the package instructions until it reaches an al dente texture. Once cooked, drain the pasta well and set aside.

Sauté the Meats: In a spacious skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced salami, pepperoni, and prosciutto. Sauté these meats for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they become slightly crispy and fragrant. Remove from heat.

Mix the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked penne pasta with the sautéed meats. Then add the sliced pepperoncini, halved cherry tomatoes, and halved black olives. Sprinkle in half of the shredded mozzarella cheese. Carefully fold in the ricotta cheese along with the garlic powder, dried oregano, dried basil, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until everything is evenly combined.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with a little oil or cooking spray, then pour the pasta mixture into the dish. Spread it out evenly to ensure all the ingredients are well-distributed.

Add Toppings: Generously top the dish with the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese. For an extra burst of flavor, sprinkle a bit more dried oregano and basil over the top.

Bake: Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 20 minutes. Then, carefully remove the foil and continue to bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and has formed a delicate golden crust.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, take the dish out of the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving. Just before serving, garnish with finely chopped fresh parsley to add a touch of freshness and color.

                  Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 55 minutes | Servings: 6

                    - Presentation Tips: For an appealing presentation, serve individual portions on plates and drizzle with a bit of olive oil or balsamic glaze. Garnish each serving with additional parsley or a few slices of fresh tomato for a pop of color. Enjoy your delightful pasta bake!
