Ingredients

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

1 cup granola (choose your favorite variety)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract (only if using plain yogurt)

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Strawberries: Begin by rinsing the strawberries thoroughly under cool water. Remove the green tops (hulling) and then slice them into quarters or halves, depending on how chunky you’d like the texture to be in your parfait.

Sweeten the Yogurt: If you're opting for plain Greek yogurt, scoop it into a mixing bowl. Add the honey or maple syrup for sweetness and the vanilla extract to enhance the flavor. Stir everything together until it's evenly mixed. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness if needed, adding more honey or syrup according to your preference.

      Layer the Parfait:

        - Take serving glasses or bowls and begin the layering process. Start with a generous layer of Greek yogurt at the bottom, about ½ cup per glass.

          - Next, add a layer of the sliced strawberries, using approximately ¼ cup for each glass.

            - Follow the strawberries with a layer of granola, about ¼ cup, to bring in a delightful crunch.

              - Repeat the layering process: another layer of yogurt, then strawberries, and finish with granola until the glasses are filled to the top.

Garnish: On the top layer of granola, arrange a few extra strawberry slices for a beautiful presentation. If desired, drizzle a bit of honey over the top and add a couple of fresh mint leaves for a pop of color and flavor.

Serve: Enjoy these parfaits immediately for the best texture and flavor. If you prefer to prepare them in advance, you can cover each parfait and refrigerate for up to 2 hours.
