4 cups fresh sweet corn (or 2 cans of sweet corn, drained)

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup milk

3 large eggs

½ cup all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

½ cup chopped green onions (optional)

1 cup crushed butter crackers (such as Ritz) for topping

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven:

    Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready for baking.

      Prepare the Corn:

        If you opt for fresh corn, carefully cut the kernels off the cob with a sharp knife. If using canned corn, drain it thoroughly and measure out 4 cups.

          Mix the Wet Ingredients:

            In a large mixing bowl, use a whisk to thoroughly combine the eggs and milk until you achieve a smooth mixture.

              Combine the Dry Ingredients:

                In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Make sure there are no lumps for a uniform texture.

                  Incorporate Everything Together:
